Out with the old…
I decided it is the perfect time for a fresh start… Ahh…who am I kidding… I planned to export all of my content from my previous blog platform to this one but I royally screwed it up and even tech support couldn’t rescue me.
So, here I am with a fresh slate and a renewed energy to share content with you – tips, tricks, real life talk, positive vibes, space to vent, and work together to Create Enough – money, time, space, energy. If you are anything like me, you regularly feel like you aren’t enough in your life – not a good enough employee, parent, spouse, friend, saver, gift giver…just to name a few. I’m here to help you feel like you are enough and have you help keep me in balance too.
It’s honestly perfect timing to start fresh with Christmas & a New Year (& Decade) around the corner. It’s Advent after all, which is the beginning of Christmas & brings us reminders of Hope, Faith, Joy & Love. All things that we want to feel and share this month and every month.
In with the new…
One of our new-ish traditions for Advent is our Lego Advent calendar. It started a few years ago thanks to my big sis sending us our 1st Lego Advent Calendar. Kinley & Jaxton were delighted to be opening a gift each day and making a scene with Legos on the hearth – and frankly they are mostly just happy I didn’t make them put them away each day! We decided to continue the tradition each year and they continue to love the surprise of a new miniature Lego each day.

Some days we “do things right” – talk about God, Advent, and the reason for the season & other days we don’t manage to find time to open them at all. Sometimes they play together nicely with the legos they’ve created & other days they bicker before the calendar is even open and it all spirals into tears or anger, BUT this is our real life and we take in the good memory making moments and try to forget the rough spots.

I’m starting a new tradition with blogging. A space to share, be open, learn, grow, and document some of our amazing memories to look back on years to come. I’m hoping we can find fun and excitement along the way like my babes and their Advent calendar!

Thanks for reading and hope you will join me on this journey of Creating Enough.
Do you have any fun Advent, December or Christmas traditions you want to share? Feel free to share.

We skipped advent calendars this year and I am missing it! Gonna start baking today so we can deliver goodies to the neighbors, that’s my favorite Advent tradition.
That’s a great tradition too! Not one that we have done yet but with as much as my kids love to bake I see it happening in the future 🙂
Hey there this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use
WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code
with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.
Any help would be enormously appreciated!
I’m new as well. I use WordPress for my themes and plug ins – I have no coding experience either!
It’s truly a nice and useful piece of info. I’m happy
that you shared this helpful information with us.
Please keep us informed like this. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome post.
